REALab is a programme designed and managed by Dr. Rosalinda Quintieri. She founded it in 2014 while pursuing a PhD at the University of Manchester, with support from Manchester Doctoral College, artsmethods@manchester, School of Arts Languages and Cultures and Manchester Enterprise Centre. She now works as HE consultant delivering REAlab to academic institutions of the North West. REAlab 2018 is a collaboration with the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP).
Rosalinda holds a PhD in History of Art and Visual Studies from the University of Manchester, where she was a President’s Doctoral Scholar Award holder, and post-graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Bologna (History of Art) and the University of Firenze (Cultural Studies). She has worked in the cultural sector for over 10 years in museum management and training and development. With REAlab she is building on her experience in the academic and cultural sectors to promote new models of collaboration between cultural organisations and academic research.
